Every Day Is A Second Chance
Are you feeling lost and unsure of where to go or who to ask for help? We have all been in that place where it was hard to tell up from down let alone believe that it would get better.
Second Chance Ministries is in the process of becoming a Non-Profit Charity here in British Columbia, Canada. Our vision is to create a community of people to support each other while healing from illness, overcoming trauma, have had an accident, are starting over again after a divorce or are in a place that they need someone to listen.
One of the resources we have is our podcast, A Second Chance. Your host is Gina Kane, founder of Second Chance Ministries.
Gina has interviewed many people who have overcome tremendous injuries, illnesses and traumas. They are all very different; men, woman, entrepreneurs, scientists, pastors, chaplains, fitness instructors, lawyers, Mom’s and Dad’s – to name some of them.
They all share a common thread – they have healed and overcome tremendous obstacles using some similar methods – faith, determination and courage – as well as they all have a willingness to share what they have learned to help others.
Gina read an amazing book you may have heard of, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. After having a heart attack, She went on an 18-month journey to find out what was wrong. She began to wonder if it may be possible to, “Think and Heal”. Along the way, Gina found Jesus, God’s love and the healing powers he gives to all of us.
She began searching for the answers to my many questions and along the way experienced tremendous healing in her personal life. Closing the chapter on her healing journey, She opened a new one; sharing what she learned from her own experience as well as the experiences of the many others she has had the privilege of interviewing.
Hello, thank you for spending your time with me today. I am a Christian mother of three children and a Granny. They fill me up with love and joy. I’m an entrepreneur at heart, a coach as well as a student for life. I love reading the Holly Bible, studying Positive Psychology and gardening.
I live in Coquitlam BC and enjoy reading and hiking in the mountains and local trails.
When I was 34 years old I had a heart attack. I spent five days in the hospital and it felt like an eternity. It took 18 months to find out I have Vaso Spastic Angina and I am still under the care of a cardiologist. Now that my health is better than it was before, I am passionate about living the life that God meant for me to live.
Healing can take time, energy and resources. I would love to share a few of our top stories to get you started on your journey to your own Victorious Healing.
